Last week I have visited Salmela twice, and met again so many people, impossible to recall all the discussions I had…
The booklet in which all visitors may leave their notions of the meaning of life is almost full! I am just waiting to get it for my use and tell forward the comments!
Here a couple of them:
"Rauha itselle ja muille. Rauha sisäisesti ja ulkoisesti. Rauha koko maailman ihmisille.
Peace for oneself and for others. Peace inside and outside. Peace for the people of the whole world.”
One cannot but agree. Difficult to say anything more simply.
”To find the truth” (Löytää totuus.)
That is a real challenge. First you must believe there is a Truth to be found. The world is so full of false and fake things one may be mislead and in confusion.
If there is any truth behind all, if everything is just imagination or reflection of something else… I have always been fascinated by the idea of J.V. Snellman, our significant statesman from the 1800th century, who has said something like this: ”behind all science there is faith - faith of truth´s existence.”
More meanings of life later...
